Is TB-500 (thymosin beta-4 fragment) legal in Australia?
ProhibitedUnapproved and controlled: TB-500 and thymosin beta 4 are prescription-only, possession without authority is illegal, and the TGA has seized it.
Supply is banned or actively enforced against.
The Poisons Standard lists TB500 and thymosin beta 4 in Schedule 4 and in Appendix D clause 5, so possession without authority is illegal. The TGA names TB-500 as an unapproved peptide product and seized a product combining BPC-157 and TB-500 in New South Wales in August 2026. A keyword search of the ARTG on 29 September 2026 found no TB-500 or thymosin product for human use.
