Medsafe's index of data sheets for consented medicines, revised 29 September 2026, lists no setmelanotide product (no Imcivree entry), and the Pharmaceutical Schedule has no funded setmelanotide. The Medsafe classification database has a group entry for melanocyte-stimulating compounds as prescription medicines, which is not an approval. A prescriber could only obtain it for a named patient under the narrow unapproved-medicine exemptions. Medsafe's Product/Application Search showed no setmelanotide product or application on 29 September 2026.
