The Emirates Drug Establishment said in July 2026 that retatrutide is still in clinical trials and has not been approved for use or distribution in the UAE, and it warned residents against products promoted online. The same action covered 71 sources: 14 registered facilities were cited and 14 social media influencers were referred to the National Media Office, and the EDE said it is working with other authorities to block offending accounts. The EDE said it found no unapproved peptides in licensed pharmaceutical warehouses and is inspecting compounding pharmacies. I found no approved route of supply outside clinical trials.
