Is Orforglipron legal in Mexico?

The regulator has approved it as a medicine.
COFEPRIS's 2026 list of registrations shows Foundayz (orforglipron tablets, registration 264M2026, Eli Lilly and Company) in class IV of Article 226, a prescription-only category, with validity to 20 July 2031. That is consistent with issue in July 2026. Lilly México had filed the application as a new molecule on 18 December 2025. The list does not give the approved indication, so we do not state one. It is an oral, non-peptide GLP-1 medicine.
