Is NAD+ legal in Mexico?

Not approvedNo registration for NAD+ as an injectable medicine found in COFEPRIS lists

Not approved as a medicine here.

No medicine listing NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) as its active ingredient appears in COFEPRIS's yearly lists of allopathic registrations issued from 2007 to 2026 that we searched, and the 2026 list of new applications has no entry for it. We did not assess oral supplements or precursors, which fall under different rules. COFEPRIS's alerts state that a medicine needs a sanitary registration before it can be sold in Mexico and that prescription drugs are governed by Article 226 of the Ley General de Salud. Human evidence for injected NAD+ is small.
