The TGA issued 27 infringement notices totalling $101,412 to a New South Wales individual for alleged unlawful supply; they were paid in May 2026. In August 2026 the TGA warned that seized nasal sprays contained widely varying amounts of Melanotan II and told people to stop using such products.
