Is Ipamorelin legal in Australia?
ProhibitedUnapproved and controlled: ipamorelin is prescription-only and possession without authority is illegal under the Poisons Standard.
Supply is banned or actively enforced against.
Ipamorelin is named in Schedule 4 and in Appendix D clause 5 of the Poisons Standard, so it is prescription-only and possessing it without authority is illegal. A keyword search of the ARTG on 29 September 2026 found no ipamorelin product. Sport Integrity Australia gives it, with sermorelin, as an example of synthetic peptides sold for anti-ageing and muscle building that fall under the banned peptide hormone class.
