GHK-Cu is named in Anvisa's alert of 2026-07-02. On 2026-07-02 Anvisa said it is not registered as a medicine, supplement or cosmetic, that no supplement in Brazil may be injectable, and that injectable products of this kind cannot be sold for health or aesthetic use. Anvisa adds that if a cosmetic is offered as an injection it is an irregular cosmetic. In September 2026, 198 units of GHK-Cu were among the goods seized at Rio's Galeão airport. The alert concerns injectable products and does not address topical cosmetics.
