Is Exenatide legal in India?
ApprovedExenatide has an older CDSCO approval; whether it is still sold in India could not be confirmed
The regulator has approved it as a medicine.
CDSCO expert-committee minutes from April 2017 describe an AstraZeneca exenatide product as approved and marketed in India, and minutes from June 2019 record the committee noting antibody results for the early closure (pre-closure) of a Sun Pharma exenatide injection Phase III study. I found no later record of withdrawal or of new approvals, and no current product listing, so present commercial availability is not verified. It is not a weight-management product in India.
