Is Epitalon legal in New Zealand?

Not approvedNo Medsafe-approved medicine contains epitalon; pineal peptides are prescription-only

Not approved as a medicine here.

Medsafe's index of data sheets for consented medicines, revised 29 September 2026, lists no epitalon product. The Medsafe classification database lists 'pineal gland peptides and their analogues' as a prescription medicine class, a group entry that may capture epitalon; epitalon is not listed by name. Epitalon is not named in Medsafe's May 2026 advisory, which says its list is not complete. Products sold outside the regulated system are illegal however they are labelled.
