Ecnoglutide (developed by Sciwind Biosciences) has no FDA approval and no reported US application. The US-registered study in ClinicalTrials.gov is a completed Phase 2 trial of a weekly oral version (VRB-101, run by a licensee) in adults with obesity or overweight. Any approval or trials of the injectable form in China do not give it US status, so it is an investigational drug here.
