Ecnoglutide has been approved by China's regulator, but that does not confer a Mexican authorisation. COFEPRIS's alerts state that a medicine needs a sanitary registration before it can be sold in Mexico and that prescription drugs are governed by Article 226 of the Ley General de Salud.
