Is Dulaglutide legal in Australia?

ApprovedApproved as Trulicity for type 2 diabetes since January 2015 and listed on the PBS. Compounded GLP-1 copies are barred.

The regulator has approved it as a medicine.

Trulicity was registered on the ARTG on 19 January 2015 for type 2 diabetes. The PBS A-Z medicine listing includes dulaglutide. Since 1 October 2024 pharmacists must not compound medicines containing GLP-1 receptor agonist analogues, and the usual exemption for individually prescribed compounded medicines does not cover them.
