Medsafe's consumer advisory of 21 May 2026 names CJC-1295 among products promoted by online sellers. It says it is illegal to import, sell or use such products outside the regulated medicines system, that Medsafe continues to seize them, and that 'for research purposes only' labels have no legal effect. CJC-1295 appears by name as a prescription medicine in the Medsafe classification database, and no CJC-1295 medicine has Medsafe consent.
