Is Cagrilintide (and CagriSema) legal in United Arab Emirates?

Not approvedNo EDE approval found for cagrilintide or CagriSema; not marketed in the UAE

Not approved as a medicine here.

Cagrilintide is an amylin-type medicine being developed by Novo Nordisk, alone and combined with semaglutide as CagriSema. I found no EDE approval announcement for either. Under Federal Decree-Law 38/2024 no medical product may be circulated or sold in the UAE without EDE marketing approval, and the sources I checked show no EDE approval for it. It cannot lawfully be marketed without that approval, and I found no UAE marketing notice for it.
