Is Amycretin legal in Mexico?

Not approvedNot registered in Mexico; amycretin is an investigational Novo Nordisk medicine

Not approved as a medicine here.

No medicine containing this ingredient appears in COFEPRIS's yearly lists of allopathic registrations issued from 2007 to 2026 that we searched, and the 2026 list of new applications (updated 31 August 2026) has no entry for it. Amycretin is still in mid-stage human trials run by Novo Nordisk; Novo Nordisk México's press centre lists 2025 phase 1b-2a and phase 2 trial news, not a marketing authorisation. COFEPRIS's alerts state that a medicine needs a sanitary registration before it can be sold in Mexico and that prescription drugs are governed by Article 226 of the Ley General de Salud.
