Canadian specialty biopharmaceutical company that markets tesamorelin in the United States as EGRIFTA SV and EGRIFTA WR. Tesamorelin is a growth hormone-releasing factor analogue that the US labels approve for reducing excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV and lipodystrophy; the labels state it is not indicated for weight loss management. In September 2025 an affiliate of Future Pak, LLC completed its acquisition of the company, which said its shares were expected to be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.

Theratechnologies reported US$60.1 million in revenue from EGRIFTA SV sales in the United States for the fiscal year ended November 30, 2024 (US$53.7 million in fiscal 2023), and stated that EGRIFTA SV is commercialized solely in the United States.[src]

Acquisition by Future Pak affiliate

Shareholders approved the plan of arrangement on 2025-09-12 (97.44% of votes cast). Completion was announced on 2025-09-25: CB Biotechnology, LLC, an affiliate of Future Pak, LLC, acquired all shares for US$3.01 per share in cash plus one contingent value right per share of up to US$1.19.[src]
