Its filings say it connects patients with licensed clinicians who can prescribe medicines when appropriate, with prescriptions filled by licensed pharmacies, across areas that include weight loss. It is not the maker of any approved GLP-1 drug. According to its filings, it began offering access to compounded injectable semaglutide in May 2024 and, in 2026, moved its US weight-loss offering towards branded GLP-1 medicines, with compounded versions offered on a limited scale. - In its quarterly report for the period ended 30 June 2026, Hims & Hers reported revenue of $753.2 million (up from $544.8 million a year earlier) and a net loss of $86.3 million. - In its quarterly report Hims & Hers states that it received FDA warning letters in September 2025 about statements on its websites concerning compounded semaglutide, that in February 2026 HHS said in a statement on X that it had referred the company to the Department of Justice for investigation of potential violations of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and applicable provisions of Title 18 of the US Code, and that in February 2026 the SEC Division of Enforcement notified it that it had opened an investigation concerning its public statements and disclosures about compounded semaglutide and related business relationships. Novo Nordisk drops its patent lawsuit against Hims & Hers and the two companies agree a deal
On 9 March 2026 Novo Nordisk said it was dropping a lawsuit that claimed Hims & Hers infringed a Wegovy patent, and reserved the right to refile. Hims & Hers agreed to stop advertising compounded GLP-1 products and to offer branded Wegovy, but said it may still provide compounded versions when a provider judges them clinically necessary, according to STAT News.[src]

FDA says it will act against mass-marketed compounded GLP-1 products
On 6 February 2026 the FDA announced its intent to take steps to restrict GLP-1 active ingredients intended for use in non-approved compounded drugs that are being mass-marketed as alternatives to approved products, naming Hims & Hers and other compounding pharmacies. It also said companies cannot claim that compounded products are generic versions of, or the same as, approved drugs. This is the FDA's stated intent, not a court finding.[src][src]
