The company said a head-to-head Phase 3 study of 312 participants showed non-inferior efficacy and similar safety compared with the innovator drug, and that both the active ingredient and the formulation were developed in-house.[src]

- On 29 April 2026 Dr. Reddy's announced that Health Canada had issued a Notice of Compliance for its generic semaglutide injection. The company said it was the first company to receive market authorisation for generic semaglutide injection in Canada, that the active ingredient is produced in-house, and that finished-product manufacturing is carried out by its partner OneSource Specialty Pharma Limited.[src]
